Terms of Service

Effective October 2, 2026. Tailojix is operated by Margaret Mack.

Using Tailojix

Tailojix helps pet owners organize care information and connect with finders through QR identification tags. Provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and upload or share only information you have permission to use. Do not use Tailojix for spam, harassment, or unlawful activity.

Tailojix SMS alerts

Tailojix sends automated informational texts about scans of your pets’ QR tags and found-pet reports when you enter your mobile number, select the optional SMS consent checkbox, and save your preferences. Consent is not a condition of using Tailojix. No marketing messages are part of this program.

Message frequency varies with QR activity and your selected triggers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or visit SMS help. You can also disable alerts in your account settings. If you previously replied STOP, enabling alerts in Tailojix alone does not remove the carrier opt-out; reply START to the sending number to request resubscription.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on provider availability, carrier acceptance, and your phone service. Text alerts are not an emergency service and cannot guarantee recovery of a lost pet.

Monthly Plus allowances

Plus includes 30 text alert attempts and 20 AI document reading attempts per household per calendar month, shared across pets and caregivers. Provider processing attempts may count even when they fail. Allowances reset on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC and do not roll over. In-app QR alerts and manual medical record entry remain available after an allowance is reached. Documents uploaded through this service may be up to 10 MB each.

Care and availability

Tailojix is not a substitute for veterinary advice. Verify product directions and care estimates against the manufacturer’s label and your veterinarian’s guidance. Features may change during testing, and service availability is not guaranteed.

Privacy

Your use of Tailojix is described in our Privacy Policy. SMS consent is collected separately from these terms.
